dev log #1 2026-06-12 by: NorthGate Gemstone's Guild Heartwood Online Handbook -Created main database structure for users & staff roles. sessions, uploads, items, quests, maps, events, news posts, tickets, ticket replies, and audit logs. -Created expanded item database backend fields for item type, rarity, gold shop value, obtainable source, equipment slot, level requirement, description, image support, and stat storage. -Created event planner backend structure for community events, event ownership, event attendees, event cancellation, event timing, and future email reminder support. -Created foe/boss database backend for enemy image, name, type, location, how to find, XP gain, drops, boss mechanics, summon info, and publish status. -Created image/content attachment backend for adding multiple images to quests, maps, news, items, foes, and guides. -Added foundation for secure user login, session cookies, password handling, and staff-only access controls. -Added role system foundation for: *Administrator *Manager *Editor *Author *Member *Guest *Other -Added admin-management foundation for promoting/demoting users, banning/unbanning users, and managing accounts from inside the website. -Added staff content-management foundation so authorized users can add/edit content from website forms instead of using the Cloudflare dashboard. -Added item database management foundation for Editor+ users to create and update categorized items/equipment through website forms. -Added community event planner foundation for Author+ users to create, edit, and cancel events. -Added quest walkthrough foundation with text/image support. -Added map system foundation with map image support. -Added news system foundation with text/image support. -Added ticket system foundation with anti-spam protection. Current status: backend infrastructure and v1.0 dev build code has been created and run in the lab but still needs to be tested to confirm deployment.
